SynArea received the second award for the Innovation 4.0 in collaboraton with Italian Institute of Technology and Morecognition.

Robotic Session Human Machine Interaction

SynArea participated at the Technical session "Sessione Robotica Interazione Uomo Macchina" with a solution based on Touchless Technologies for Industry 4.0.

During the annual International Trade Fair for the Manufacturing Industry Affidabilità & Tecnologie, SynArea was present at the Mesap stand to introduce its “Smart Tutoring System”:
the solution, proposed by SynArea, to manage in a modular and integrated way all the 3D Learning Units (3D-LU), and make them accessible on different operating systems and devices: PCs, tablets, smartphones, immersive glasses.
Thanks to their portability, they can be used in different business environments like PC,Smartphone(Android,IOS,Windows),WebGL and SCORM and can be integrated in learning platforms such as Moodle. Each 3D-LU virtualizes the machinery or the customer operating procedure with a high degree of photorealism, it may be connected to a simulator reproducing the system behavior to manage the interaction with the operator, and can be downloaded "on demand" from a remote server.

The following use cases have been presented:

• VR/AR Technologies and methodologies: the setup operational sequence of a special machine for the gears processing.
• Virtualization of a maintenance procedure: the replacement of flying probes on an ATE system.
• The virtual scenarios management: the modular design, the optimization and remote use of 3D scenarios, integrated into the preventive and predictive maintenance system.
• New ways of human-machine interaction: integration and exploration of 3D applications with a wearable device, in collaboration with Morecognition.
